DataESP Inc. is a high tech company that provides cloud based business analysis solutions to small and media enterprises to streamlining their operations and optimizing their bottom line. We intend to develop a new collaborative filtering based product recommendation system that incorporates additional data sources related to customer demographic and behavior information to obtain better recommendation than the current recommendation system using only product sales transaction data. The developed analytics and solutions will be directly integrated into the current operational solution used by DataESP. The knowledge base established during this project would show the world that Canada is a leader in data analytics and insight driven strategy.
