Terramera is a Bio/Ag Tech company developing high-performance sustainable alternatives to conventionalchemical pesticides and fertilizers. Terramera aims to create healthy, safe environments and crops free of toxicchemicals, and to make sustainable and organic farming cheaper, more productive, and abundant.Terramera and Dr. Simone Castellarin, Wine Research Center, University of British Columbia, will study thecrop enhancement effect of Neem oil formulations in grapevine. Individual formulations based on Neem oilwill be applied to the grapevines grown in greenhouse at specific time intervals and growth stages of the plant.At the end of the growth season, the grapes will be analyzed for the determining how the tested formulationsaffect the accumulation of the major compounds that affect wine quality.
