The BMV Optical R&D Team will be developing technology associated with image acquisition and analysis for advanced**interferometric metrology purposes. The image processing capabilities required will need to yield high accuracy and repeatable**results, which will involve research and implementation into advanced mathematical algorithms. The goal of this project is to**complete the missing software component from a fully developed turnkey Static Fringe Fizeau Interferometer. However, the**developed software will also need to implement framework capable of expansion into other Smart Optic technologies that utilize**these advanced image acquisition and analysis techniques. This project is to provide BMV with a viable product for sale, while**also developing our opto-electronic device and Smart Optics production capabilities for emerging industrial and commercial market**share.****
