The proposed project will allow our industrial collaborator CVTCorp inc., an SME based in Sainte-Julie, Quebec, to leverage advanced tribological modeling, powerful machine learning (ML) and control techniques in their novel continuously-variable transmission system for off-highway vehicles. The adoption of such a transmission architecture by original equipment manufacturers allows smoother and more energy-efficient vehicle operation, which is one way to reduce emissions to curb climate change.#(cr)#(lf)Le projet proposé permettra à notre partenaire industriel CVTCorp inc., une PME basée à Sainte-Julie, au Québec, de tirer parti de la modélisation tribologique avancée, de puissantes techniques d'apprentissage automatique (ML) et de contrôle dans leur nouveau système de transmission à variation continue pour les véhicules hors route. .
