The novel diagnostic marker of colorectal cancer with high sensitivity

目前临床上有几种肿瘤标志物用于辅助结直肠癌的诊断。然而，这些标志物的升高通常只在相对晚期的肿瘤中检测到。我们发现了新的生物标志物HL71a，它不仅在晚期结直肠癌中表达，也在早期结直肠癌中表达。该基因在正常组织中不过表达，而通过real - time- pcr和原位杂交，在I期至IV期的原发性结直肠癌中强烈表达HL71a。提示HL71a可能是早期结直肠癌的有希望的生物标志物。

Currently, several tumor markers are clinically used for the assistance of diagnosis of colorectal cancer. However, elevation of these markers is usually detected only in the relatively advanced tumor. We identified the novel biomarker, HL71a, which expresses not only in advanced phase but also in early phase of colorectal cancer. This gene did not overexpress in normal tissues, whereas the primary colorectal cancers with stage I to IV strongly demonstrated the expression of HL71a by realtime-PCR and in-situ-hybridization. It is suggested that HL71a may be promising biomarker for early phase of colorectal cancer.
