Techno Canada Centre of Excellence is a Toronto based company operating in the higher education sector for several years. Techno Canada is partnering with Centennial College's WIMTACH (Wearable, Interactive and Mobile technologies Access Centre in Health) to develop CollegeCornerStone, a faculty driven, placement referral system for students. This web platform will enable faculty to connect their students directly with coops, internships, entry level jobs and other opportunities. Faculty will do this by leveraging their professional networks built during the span of their careers to provide referrals. Proposed system will therefore greatly streamline and simplify the process of connection making.
