Saskatchewan Polytechnic (SP) and Levis Media Inc. will collaborate on the development of a niche inventory management system. The goal is to integrate sensor-based systems with a cloud based mobile application. There are many off the shelf systems that perform inventory tracking currently. However, they are often tied to specific hardware and software requirements that make customization not affordable for small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs). This cloud-based platform will be extremely flexible and customizable, integrating with a range of low-cost inventory tracking tools and offered at an affordable price point not currently on the market.
