ABSTRACT0805856 ZHOU, S. International Research and Education: Planning Visit to Shanghai Jiaotong UniversityThis award supports travel for the PI, Dr. Susan Zhou, Assistant Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and 2 other faculty members, to develop a Major Qualifying Project (MQP) site for WPI seniors in Chemical and Environmental Engineering. The planning visit is carried out in cooperation with Professor SHAO, Jiahui in the College of Environmental Sciences and Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China. The successful completion of this visit will provide a research base in China for WPI engineering students interested in environmental engineering challenges.
