4年目となる令和4年度には、1940年代後半から1950年代にかけての農地法と農協法の制定過程に関する資料分析を進めた。2次資料が中心であったが、1次資料の精査についても行っている。また本研究の理論部分について、当初構成主義的な分析手法を想定していたが、より適切に鉄の三角同盟の形成を説明できる理論形態として、社会物理学のフレームワークを応用することを視野に、同分野の研究を行った。コロナ禍で先送りを余儀なくされていた資料収集や学会報告に関しても、規制緩和にともなって再開できるようになった。令和3年度には国内・海外の学会・研究会で研究報告を行ったが、その際に得られたコメントなどを反映して、研究内容の修正を行った。また令和4年度末には、カナダで開催されたInternational Studies Associationに参加し、研究大会への参加や海外の研究者との意見交換などを通じて積極的に情報収集を行った。令和4年度後半は、本研究を基にした著書の執筆を進め、国内の出版社に出版に向けてコンタクトした結果、研究書出版に実績のある出版社から出版に向けて前向きな返事があった。同書については、令和5年度中に執筆を終える予定である。現在全7章のうち、5章の執筆を完了している。もう1件、本研究と以前の研究の内容を基に英語で執筆した著書の執筆を行った。こちらについては、イギリスのRoutledge社から出版オファーをもらい、出版契約を交わした。すでに全ての原稿執筆を終え、第1稿を同社に提出しており、令和5年度中の出版を計画している。以上のように、本研究の成果を国内・海外において発信することができる目途がついたことは、令和4年度の大きな成果であったと考える。
