Search for key molecules for intestinal virus entry

近年来，NPC1L1作为依折麦布治疗血脂异常的分子靶点，介导了肠道胆固醇吸收，并被积极研究，揭示了胆固醇转运以外的几种重要生理功能。本研究的目的是证明这一假设，肠道转运蛋白，如NPC1L1是重要的病毒进入。由于肠道病毒进入实验的体外和体内模型已经安排好，因此在不久的将来应该揭示病毒从小肠进入的关键分子。

Recently, NPC1L1, which mediates the intestinal cholesterol absorption and is a molecular target of ezetimibe for dyslipidemia, is actively studied and several important physiological functions other than cholesterol transport have been revealed. The aim of this study was to prove the hypothesis that intestinal transporters such as NPC1L1 are important for virus entry. Since in vitro and in vivo models for the experiments of intestinal virus entry are arranged, key molecules for virus entry from the small intestine should be revealed in the near future.
