Development of CAI system for Japanese study

最近许多外国学生来我国上大学。但是，日语对于彼此交流是必不可少的，他们来到日本后必须在开始时学习。因此，在教师人数有限的情况下，利用计算机辅助教学（Computer Assisted Instruction，简称CAI）系统进行日语学习是非常有效的。我们使用光盘播放器的原因是自然的图像和声音对外国人学习会话很重要，本系统的特点是学生在学习CAI课程时可以自己控制光盘。这使他们能够积极学习。我们还测量了控制按钮的使用与结果之间的关系。

Recently many foreign students come to our country to learn at university. However, Japanese language is essential to communicate each other and they must learn at the beginning after coming to Japan. Then, CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) system for learning Japanese language is effective for them because number of terachers is so limitted.In this research project, Special CAI system which consists of micro-computer and video disk player was developed. The reason why we use a video disk player is that natural image and sound must be important for foreigners to learn conversation.The characteristic of this system is that students can control videl disk by themselves when they study CAI course. It enables them to study positively. we also measured the replation between usage of control button and resujt.
