本研究は, 学校教育において, 学校と保護者, 地域が連携して健康安全・環境教育を進めることを目的とし, これからを生きる子ども達の健康保障につなげていくことである。平成21年に施行された学校保健安全法の中でも学校安全の充実が述べられおり, 中教審答申でも「安全科」「防災科」を視野に入れた安全教育の必要性が叫ばれている。そこで, 本校における安全・防災教育のカリキュラム開発と指導の効果について検証した。1. 生徒・保護者の意識調査本校生徒とその保護者に「食の安全」と「災害事故防止」「衛生習慣」についての調査を行い, その調査結果から, 子どもや保護者から求められている健康安全・環境教育を具体化するための指針や方策を検討した。2. 防災教育目標の設定意識調査の分析結果をもとに, 防災教育目標を立て, 目指す生徒の姿を設定して指導計画を立てた。限られた時間の中で, 指導効果を高めるために学校教育における既存の教科指導とのクロスカリキュラムを作成して実際の指導を行ったことは, 生徒にとっては学習の流れが理解しやすく効果的であった。3. 保護者啓発活動保護者への健康教育へのアプローチや子育て支援の一旦を担うために「三原学校園健康教室」を開催し, 家庭と学校の連携の場を設けることで, 家庭での教育力のアップのための支援をすることが出来た。4. 研究のまとめと今後に向けて校内の学校保健委員会や学校保健研修会等でアンケート調査の報告をし, 今後の課題を明確にするとともに, 地域との連携についての課題を整理することが出来た。
