カンボジア成人における口腔粘膜疾患の疫学調査に関する報告はこれまでにほとんどない。そこで同国における口腔粘膜疾患の疫学的状況を把握することを目的に同国保健省の許可の下に、プノンペン南西のカンダールスタン郡において調査を行った。対象および方法:平成3年度報告に同じ。結果:1339名中67名に73例の口腔粘膜疾患を検出した。内訳は口腔癌1例(0.1%)、白板症14例(1.1%)、口腔扁平苔癬24例(1.8%)、粘膜下線維腫2例(0.2%)、口腔カンジダ症22例(1,7%)、その他10例(9.8%)であった。白板症の有病率は男性2.2%、女性0.6%でその差は有意であった。白板症の患者に喫煙者が有意に多かった。扁平苔癬は女性のみ出現した。高齢者における有病率が高く、60〜69歳の女性では6.6%であった。症状は萎縮又はビラン型が12例(50%)、その他が12例(50%)であった。扁平苔癬患者の83.3%がビンロージ咀嚼習慣を有し、ビンロージ咀嚼者の口腔扁平苔癬に対する相対危険度は3.3(95%信頼区間0.97-11.0)であった。とりわけ、タバコとビンロージを混合して咀嚼する者の同症に対する相対危険度は8.5(信頼区間1.27-64.42)と高かった。このような結果から、カンボジア成人女性に対する咀嚼習慣に関する保健指導の必要性があると考えられた。本年度の研究は同国の口腔粘膜疾患の疫学に関する情報、とりわけ喫煙習慣およびビンロー咀嚼習慣との関連を明らかにした。同国の将来的な口腔保健計画の立案に際して重要な資料となろう。

Report on epidemiological investigation of oral mucosal diseases in adults To understand the epidemiological status of oral mucosal diseases in the same country, the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China has approved the investigation. Method: Heisei 3 annual report. Results: 67 out of 1339 cases were diagnosed with oral mucosal diseases. 1 case (0.1%) of internal oral cancer, 14 cases (1.1%) of white plate disease, 24 cases (1.8%) of oral lichen planus, 2 cases (0.2%) of submucosal swelling, 22 cases (1.7%) of oral cavity disease, 10 cases (9.8%) of other diseases. The prevalence of white board disease was 2.2% in men and 0.6% in women. White board disease patients who eat cigarettes intentionally more often. Lichen planus is a female disease. The prevalence rate for women aged 60 to 69 is 6.6%. 12 cases (50%) had atrophy and 12 cases (50%) had other symptoms. 83.3% of lichen planus patients had oral chewing habits, and the relative risk of oral lichen planus for oral chewing was 3.3(95% confidence interval 0.97-11.0). The relative risk of the disease was 8.5(information range 1.27-64.42) and high. The results of this study indicate the necessity of health guidance related to chewing habits in adult women. This year's study provides information on the epidemiology of oral mucosal diseases in the same country and clarifies the relationship between smoking habits and chewing habits. Important data for future oral health programs in the United States.
