The prupose of this study is to clarify the problems of the schematic design process of public school building and to propose the design system for this process. The investigation of this study is consited of 2 parts. 1) The administration system and the organization structure of participants at the schematic design procss are investigated. 2)The schematic design process is traced by real time investigation.The result of this study is as follows;1) The schematic design process is restrained by the administration system which is based on the customary standardized design process.2)The estimation on the schematic design process is influenced by the process time length3)Organizing information is used effectively in discussion and decision making.4)The affective and clear communication among users(teachers) and designers is achieved partly by sharing with the common language.5)The adequate size of people grouping realizes the freely discussion among participants.6)Some patterns of this schematic process are categorized and this variation assures the diversity of public school building.

本研究的目的在于厘清公立学校建筑方案设计过程中存在的问题，并提出该过程的设计体系。本研究的调查研究分为两个部分。1)对方案设计过程中的管理体制和参与者的组织结构进行了研究。2)本研究以真实的时间调查法追踪设计过程，结果如下：1）方案设计过程受到基于标准化设计过程的管理体制的约束; 2）方案设计过程的评价受到过程时间长度的影响; 3）组织信息在讨论和决策中得到有效利用。使用者（教师）和设计者之间的情感和清晰的交流部分是通过共享共同的语言实现的。5）适当的人群规模实现了参与者之间的自由讨论。6）这种图式过程的一些模式被分类，这种变化保证了公立学校建筑的多样性。
