We investigated and got following results on the relationship between human cognitive/verbal process and brain rhythmic information.1.For analyzing generation of cognition-/language-related rhythmic activities based on neurosynaptic circuits, we modeled and simulated neurosynaptic circuits of sensory area-thalamus and hippocampus-septum as bi-directional cortico-subcortical system.2.For developing a method of time series analysis of single-trial rhythmic information from EEG/MEG,we modified and integrated 2D-spline interpolation and adaptive correlation filter with templates to complete an algorithm of extracting a single-trial rhythmic bursts as well as of estimating source localization to be presented in 3D brain image.3.For establishing a testing method of brain rhythmic information in cognitive/verbal behavior, we analyzed characteristics of rhythmic structure with fractals etc.in the cognitive and verbal data acquired by EEG/MEG system as well as eyetracker.4.For invetigating relationships between cognitive/verbal rhythmic information and neurotransmitter/modulator metabolites, we analyzed plasma metabolites as well as brain rhythmic activities during cognitive/verbal tasks to investigate the constructed model.5.For modeling of rhythmic activities in cognitive/verbal disorders, we developed the circuit model to propose a model of neural information processing explaining the relations among deficits in cognitive/verbal behavior, in neurotransmitter/modulator metabolites and in EEG/MEG as well as eye movements.
