项目摘要

平成9年度本科研費研究の達成目標は以下の通りであった。1.日本語の音連続に対応するひらがな表記を個別的に学習でき,その学習過程を記録するコンピュータプログラム(CAI)を開発すること。2.学習者の学習記録を蓄積し,個別的に聞き取りにくい音連続を特定すること。また,その習得過程を分析すること。3.学習者の最後まで残る間違いを母語別に分類し,その間違いが母語の影響によるものか,個人差なのかを明らかにし,母語の影響による間違いを母語別に特定すること。1.については予定通り,「日本語の音連続に対応するひらがな表記」学習システム(日本語ディクテーションシステム)の開発を完了した。本システムは手書き認識エンジンを組み込んだ手書きボード入力をメインとした(キーボード入力も可能)。音声データは試作用に50単語入力した。このシステムを使い,10カ国15名の留学生にディクテーション指導を行った。その結果,システムの使いにくい点,音声データの質の問題,ソフトウェアのプロテクトの問題等が明らかになった。本システム開発について,学会発表を行った。本システムは,学習の記録も可能になっているが,データ利用のための出力様式等の改良が必要である。2.については,学習者にテープレコーダーで音声を聞かせ,紙に表記という形式で学習記録を蓄積した。多数の学習者に同時に1.で試作したコンピュータシステムを使用させる環境が整わなかったためである。3.については,2.で得られたデータを分析し,その成果を「多摩留学生センター教育研究論集」に投稿した。(深尾百合子・梅田康子「日本語の音韻認識の困難性について」)
