项目摘要

本研究は、チベット学に於ける古典学の再構築を目指し、チベット大蔵経とチベット蔵外文献の各々について以下の二点より研究を遂行することを目的とする。--1.従来明らかになっている主要文献の整理。(即ち、目録、解題、批判的校訂本、翻訳、データベースの作成)。2.未入手文献の入手。--この目的に沿って平成14年度に得られた成果は以下の如くである。1.従来明らかになっている主要文献の整理。--特に、研究代表者御牧の分野研究としての宗義文献研究は、平成14年度には、最終段階として、後期宗義文献の整理を進展させ、出版に向けての準備を行った。また、従来継続してきた宗義文献研究の集大成として全体の見取り図を完成させた。もう一つの分野研究であるボン教研究については、14世紀のボン教教義文献『ボン門明示』に引用されこれまで同定されていない文献について,平成14年度に購入されたボン教のテンギュル中に調査を行ったが、同定出来ない文献が依然として相当数あることが判明した。これらの未同定の典拠の問題は今後の課題とすることとし、「ボン門明示』の批判的校訂本を出版に向けて整備し、引用文献の解説付索引を完成させた。2.未入手文献の入手。待望のボン教のテンギュルを購入設置した(前年度約2/3購入済。残りを今年度購入設置)。また、ロンドンの大英博物館(British Museum)に保存され、新たに補遺部も含めて撮影され直した敦煌出土スタイン本チベット語文書のマイクロフィルムを全巻購入設置出来たのも大きな収穫といえる。他に、インドや中国で出版著しい新出チベット文献を多数購入設置出来たのは幸いであり、研究の進展に大いに役立った。
