项目摘要

Rolling guide ways are widely applied to machine tool table systems these days because of their low frictional resistance and high maintainability. Rolling-guided tables have, however, some demerits such as low dampling ability, which causes chatter vibraions in maching process. The dynamic characteristics of the table system is one of the important factors which decide machining accuracy and Productivity of machine tools. It is desirable to improve the dynamic performance of the rolling-guided tables.An effective method to improve the dynamic performance of rolling-guided tables is to apply an additional damping force to the tables. However, the additional damping force will also deny the low frictional resistance, therefore, it is necessary to control the additional damping force according to the table motions. In this study, a variable damping system (electrorheological fluid film damper) has been developed andattached to a rolling-guided table system. The electrorheological fluid was applied to control the damping force generated by the fluid film damper. The electrorheological fluid is a kind of colloidal suspension, whose apparent viscosity can be adjusted depending on the applied electric field. The performance of the developed table system was evaluated by means of the impulse force response method and the cutting tests. The conclusions are summarized as follows.(1) The additional damping force generated by the electrorheological fluid film damper was controll able by changing the applied electric field.(2) The dynamic performance of the developed rolling-guided table was improved by the effect of the electrorheological fluid film damper, especially in the direction of the table feed.(3) Chatter vibrations during machining were suppressed by the electrorheological fluid film damper, and the roughness of the machined surface was improved.
滚动导轨因其摩擦阻力小、可维护性好而广泛应用于机床工作台系统中。然而,滚动导向工作台的阻尼能力不强,在加工过程中容易产生颤振。工作台系统的动态特性是决定机床加工精度和生产率的重要因素之一。提高滚动导向工作台的动态性能是人们迫切需要的。提高滚动导向工作台动态性能的有效方法是在工作台上施加附加阻尼力。然而,附加阻尼力也会否定低摩擦阻力,因此,有必要根据表的运动来控制附加阻尼力。在本研究中,开发了一种可变阻尼系统(电流变液膜阻尼器),并将其附加在滚动导向台系统上。采用电流变液控制液膜阻尼器产生的阻尼力。电流变液是一种胶体悬浮液,其表观粘度可以随外加电场的变化而变化。采用冲力响应法和切削试验对所研制的工作台系统进行了性能评价。结论总结如下:(1)电流变液膜阻尼器产生的附加阻尼力可以通过改变外加电场来控制。(2)采用电流变液膜阻尼器改善了滚动导向工作台的动态性能,特别是在工作台进给方向上。(3)采用电流变液膜阻尼器抑制了加工过程中的颤振,提高了加工表面的粗糙度。
