宇宙物理学から出た流体の運動方程式であるEuler-Poisson方程式,Navier-Stokes方程式についての研究を遂行したが,球対称Navier-Stokes方程式の真空と接する解の漸近挙動について一定の結論を得(岡田,平成9年6月公刊予定),また一般相対論における対応する問題について,球対称解の構造について一定の結論を得(牧野,投稿中)たが,当初の課題の多くは未解決のままである.本年度に形に現れているのは,問題の周辺に関連する確率論的研究成果である.本年度の研究実績が陽の目を見るには少し時間が必要と思われる.
