前年度に引き続いて、toral complement a cohomologyから得られるポアンカレ多項式の研究を行った。これについて、2002年6月に大阪市立大学で開かれた「代数群と量子群の表現論」研究会で、Regular elements in maximal tori and their Poincare polynomialsと題して、講演を行った。又、上の主題と平行して、toral complementに関する、より基礎的、幾何学的な研究を行った。即ち、toral arrangementから生じるderivationのmoduleがfreeであることを示した。この事実は、寺尾によるhyperplane arrangementの一般理論の基礎であり、これが成立することより、寺尾の理論をtoral arrangementの場合に拡張する可能性が生じた。これについて、2003年1月に東京都立大の談話会で、Modules of derivations for toral arrangementsと題して講演を行った。この結果は、現在論文にまとめて、雑誌に投稿した。

In January 2003, Tokyo Metropolitan University held a symposium on Modules of derivatives for toral arrangements. The result is that the paper is now published.
