Survey on Students' Acquisition for Chinese Characters in Japanese Vocabulary

项目摘要

I conducted surveys about students' acquisition for Chinese characters as follows.(1)Compare with a survey by Agency for Cultural Affairs in (1964-67) and clarify changes in forty years.(2)Survey on students' free writing ability by using Chinese character.(3)Survey on Chinese characters which are frequently used in comics and game softs but which are not taught at schools.(4)Survey on how much time they watch TV and playing games and correlation to scores of the test for Chinese charactersTheses surveys were conducted in September to December 2004. It took for forty minutes for the test of Chinese characters and ten minutes for questionnaires.I asked educational centers of every prefecture to select one middle school and twenty nine schools of twenty nine prefectures have agreed to conduct the survey in their schools.Number of samples is 3,018 students in 99 schools.Main results are,(1)Test scores for Chinese characters which are taught in schools up eight points in reading when compared to forty years ago.(2)Test scores for Chinese characters which is not taught in schools up eleven points in writing and twenty seven points in reading when compared to forty years ago.
我对学生汉字习得情况进行了如下调查。(1)与文化厅(1964- 1967年)的调查比较,阐明40年来的变化。(2)学生汉字自由书写能力的调查。(3)有关漫画及游戏软件中经常使用但学校没有教授的中文字的调查。(4)调查学生看电视和玩游戏的时间与汉字测验成绩的相关性。汉字测验用了40分钟,问卷调查用了10分钟。我请每个都道府县的教育中心选择一所中学,29个都道府县的29所学校同意在他们的学校进行调查。样本数为99所学校的3,018名学生。主要结果是,(一)学校教授的汉字测验分数,在阅读方面,较四十年前提高了八分。(二)学校没有教授的汉字,与四十年前相比,书写考试成绩提高了十一分,阅读考试成绩提高了二十七分。
