项目摘要

本研究の目的は、子どもが話し合い・学び合う授業を実現するための談話ルールの共有を図る熟練教師の実践知を明らかにすることである。平成19年度の調査から、授業の流れの中で児童が実際にルールを運用した際、話し合いの過程と結びつけてルールを明確化、意味づけていくという熟練教師の実践の特徴が明らかになった。本年度は、教育心理学、教育学、社会言語学などの諸領域における関連研究をレビューし、その中に上記の知見を位置づけ、本研究の理論的枠組みを精緻化した。授業における談話ルールの共有過程を捉えるため、「明示的過程」(教師が望ましい談話ルールを言語化して説明)と、「潜在的過程」(実際の話し合いの体験を通じて児童が談話ルールを学び取る)という二つの過程を整理し、各過程の詳細と、機能、その限界性について論じた。その上で、これらの二つの過程の両方を通じて共有化を図る事の重要性について論じた。また、平成19年度の調査において重要性が示唆された、授業の内外の文脈との関連について、上記のレビューで示された枠組みに基づきながら、詳細な検討を行った。小学校低学年の学級における、朝の会と国語の授業における相互作用過程を分析し、以下の知見を得た。まず、教員は朝の会の場を利用して、子どもたちが共通に体験していることを言語化し、共有する。その上で、教師はその体験を枠祖みとしながら授業中の話し合いの体験について意味づけを行う事で、子どもたちが授業において特定の談話ルールを運用する事の意味を実感できる状況作りを行っていた。これまでも理論的には授業内外のつながりの重要性は指摘されてきたが、今回、そのことを実証的に示したという点で、重要な研究の知見であると言える。上記のレビュー、調査はそれぞれ新たに論文にまとめ、教育心理学研究、心理学評論などの学会誌に投稿している(4月1日現在、審査中)。
