项目摘要

当該年度に公開した論文に則して研究業績の概要を示す。『ヒューマニステッィク英語教育研究会紀要２号』掲載の「中学校英語教科書におけるテナーの扱いについての一考察：学習者と著者との関係性をいかに強められるか」の論文では、現行の中学校用英語教科書における学習者とテキストの著者との関係性をレジスターにおけるテナーとして捉え，どのような類型があるかを調査した結果，5つのパターンと両者の関係性強化のための３つの方策を確認した。テキストの著者性を意識せずにテキストを読む指導・学習の習慣は、テキストを鵜呑みにする態度を助長し、情報の信頼性を判断する際に必要不可欠な「誰がそう言っているのか」を意識する批判的思考力を伸ばせないどころか，むしろ鈍化させる危険性をさえ孕んでいることを指摘した。『国際地域研究論集第１４号』批判的思考力テストの妥当性についての一考察：久原他（1983）に焦点をあてて」では、久原・井上・波多野（1983）の「批判的思考力テスト」の詳細な分析を行い、同テストが推論に特化したテストであることを明確にした。その上で、いくつかの批判的思考力伸長を謳う実践研究においては、複合的な能力である批判的思考力のどの構成要素に焦点化したのかを明示しないまま、同テストを実践の前後に用いてその有効性を主張している現状を批判し、推論能力の伸長を企図した実践以外では同テストを用いることは妥当性を欠くと主張した。上記以外にも、『中部地区英語教育学会紀要52号』の「新高校英語教科書の読みのための発問課題の改良 ―ジャンル準拠リーディング指導による指導改善のために―」において、学習者の読みの技能を伸ばすためにジャンルの知識を活用することを提案しています。
