本研究は、大学教員と大学院生が、特定保育所と提携し、子どもや保育活動の観察・アセスメントおよびそれについて研修・話し合いを重ねる中で、どのような参入の仕方が、双方にとって最もメリットのあるものになり得るかを探索的に明らかにすることを目的とするものである。今年度も前年度に引き続き、連携関係を結んだ保育所に、大学教員と大学院生が定期的に通い、観察および保育スタッフとの協議、発達心理学の基礎的レクチャー等を通した研修支援などを行い、保育所の様々な問題(例えば、保育スタッフ同士のコミュニケーションの不足、専門的知識・スキル養成機会の欠落、外部リソースとの連絡経路の未開拓など)を掘り起こすと同時に、それらに対するあり得べき対応策について保育スタッフ、大学教員、大学院生で総合的に検討を行った。今年度は、特に院内保育所における病児の観察および保育スタッフとの共同研修等の機会を設け、病児におけるアタッチメント形成の難しさおよびそれがその他の領域の発達にいかなる長期的影響を及ぼし得るかという視点から、大学研究室と保育現場の連携のあり方を模索した。病児においては、まさに自身の病気やけがおよびそれらに対する治療上の困難等に起因して、極度にアタッチメント欲求を活性化されていながら、入院等によって主要なアタッチメント対象たる養育者等との分離を余儀なくされ、適切な情動制御がなされないままになるケース、および遊びを含めた探索活動が大きく制約を受けることから強いフラストレーションを抱え込むケースなどが相対的に多く存在する可能性が示唆され、そうしたケースに対して促育および病院スタッフがいかに対応すべきかということの実践的解明が喫緊の課題であることが認識された。
