Governing Russians in Manchukuo and Transformation of the RussianEmigre Society

本文考察了1932年在日军阴影下建立的满洲国的俄国流亡社会及其转型。通过对当代资料和未公开的档案资料的分析，本文认为，1934年在日本驻哈尔滨军事使团的指导下成立的俄罗斯满洲国流亡局(BREM)在俄罗斯移民融入政权方面发挥了重要作用；俄罗斯移民可以通过BREM保持他们在满洲国的凝聚力。

This study examined the Russian emigre society and its transformation in Manchukuo, which was established in 1932 and ruled under the shadow of the Japanese army. Analyzing contemporary materials and unpublished archival documents, this study delivered that the Bureau of Russian Emigre Affairs in Manchukuo (BREM), established in 1934 under the guidance of the Japanese Military Mission in Harbin, played an important role in integrating Russian emigrants into the regime; and that Russian emigrants could preserve their cohesion in Manchukuo through the BREM.
