The purpose of this study is to reconsider the developmental origin and process of mentalizing ability from a viewpoint of a “mother-event-infant” triadic relations. Data were collected through a longitudinal observation of mother-infantinteractions of 50 pairs at infant’s age 3, 5, 8, 12, 15. Results indicated that their prevailing interaction sequences were; “Infants Look at Object (ILO) →Mothers Look at the Same” at 3 & 5 months, “IOL→Mothers Dramatize Object (MDO)” at 8 months, “ILO→MDO→Infants Manipulate the Object”. The implication of these results is that mothers begin to introduce events by dramatization into interaction with their infants at 8 months and after then, infants develop mentalizing through attending at events than objects.

本研究旨在从“母亲-事件-婴儿”三元关系的角度，重新审视心理化能力的发展起源和过程。通过对50对3岁、5岁、8岁、12岁、15岁婴儿的母婴互动进行纵向观察，收集数据。结果表明，它们的主要相互作用序列为；“婴儿看物体（ILO）→母亲看同样的东西”在3和5个月，“IOL→母亲戏剧化物体（MDO）”在8个月，“ILO→MDO→婴儿操纵物体”。这些结果的含义是，母亲在8个月时开始通过戏剧化的方式将事件引入到与婴儿的互动中，此后，婴儿通过参与事件而不是对象来发展心智化。
