Quantitative Sociological Analysis on Transformation processes of Japanese Society from prewar to postwar.

本研究的目的是定量地考察日本社会从战前到战后的转型过程。为此，对东京大学社会科学研究所保存的劳动研究文献进行了调查、重新编码，并将其转化为数据集和分析。调查结果如下：（1）战前的农地所有权和近代以前的家庭所有权作为阶级起源，在战后相当长的一段时期内继续影响着后代的阶级定位。（2）战争经历，如招募和战争破坏，受到职业模式和贫困风险的强烈影响。(3)In制造业，特别是机械工业，长期雇佣的做法是从20世纪20年代形成的，这与战后的长期雇佣做法是连续的。

The purpose of research project is to examine quantitatively the transformation processes of Japanese society from prewar to postwar. For this purpose, the labor research documents stored in the Institute of Social Science, University of Tokyo, were investigated, recoded and transformed into data set and analysed. Findings are as follows : (1)agricultural land ownership and pre-modern family title of prewar era as class origins continued to influence the class location of descendant over a long period of time considerably after the war. (2)Experience of war, such as recruitment and war damage, has been strongly influenced career patterns and poverty risk. (3)In manufacturing industry, especially the machinery industry, long-term employment practices are formed from the 1920s, this is continuous with the long-term employment practices after the war.
