项目摘要

本研究は、日本語という個別言語に存在する語彙体系のうち、文を構成する語の働きにより分類される品詞を取り上げ、大規模コーパスの計量分析を通して具体的な語彙の整理と分類を行うことで、品詞体系の再構築を目指すものである。研究初年度となる2022年度は、1980年代から現在に至るまでの先行研究の収集とその整理に多くの時間を割いた。「品詞」とされるもののそれぞれで、構文的・意味的な位置づけがどのような観点から検討されてきたかを調べた。その結果、助詞の分析方法の多様性や、名詞の研究の発展性に関する知見が得られた。自身の過去の研究成果も踏まえながら、形容動詞を軸とした副詞や名詞への品詞論的広がりや、現行の品詞体系における量的相関についても検討し、次年度以降の研究に向けた方向性を一定程度見出した。また、先行研究の構文論的・意味論的アプローチを参考にしながら、定量化の方法と研究資料の拡張可能性についても検討した。従来から利用されている書き言葉コーパスに限らず、方言のデータベースも活用して研究を実施し、言語変種の把握にも貢献しうるデータ分析の方法を試行した。さらに、語・文・文章という言語単位の相互をつなぐ役割を持つ品詞の性格を踏まえ、言語単位をつなぐ語彙論的問題に踏み込んだ研究も行った。総じて2022年度の研究活動は具体的な研究を行うための背景の精査とそこから発展させうる研究方法の検討、ならびにそれらの分析の試行的な実施という点に集約されると言える。

This study aims to clarify the existence of individual words in Japanese and to reconstruct the vocabulary system by using quantitative analysis of large-scale words. From the beginning of the study to the end of 2022, the collection and reorganization of advanced research in the 1980s were divided into several periods.
