「著作権研究」47号に「人格要素の財産価値とドイツ法の展開」を公表した（2022年4月30日発行）。同論文では、本研究課題と関係で、パブリシティ権とその対抗利益である表現の自由との利益衡量問題に関して、主としてドイツ法の判例および学説の包括的な把握・理解と、それを承けての我が国の解釈論上の課題への示唆とについて、具体的な考察を行った。ドイツ法には、パブリシティ権と表現の自由との利益衡量問題に関して、前者のパブリシティ権の憲法上の位置づけをめぐり議論があるが(規範序列論)、その議論の背景、具体的な内容、具体的な紛争解決への影響の概要を明らかにしたことにより、本課題研究の考察を今後展開していく上での基礎を得ることができた。また、本研究課題との関係で、パブリシティ権の性質論や先行する最高裁判例の解釈をめぐる論点を提供した東京高裁の裁判例（東京高決令和2・7・10判時2486号22頁）の研究を公表した（判例評論2517号154頁）。パブリシティ権と対抗利益との利益衡量に際しては、パブリシティ権の保護法益を構成し得る利益の特定ないし限界づけも問題となるところ、この裁判例研究を通じ、従来の我が国の裁判例に照らし、その保護法益の理解に関する解釈がいかに展開されてきたものと解すべきかの点で、一定の成果を得られた。また、本研究課題では著作権保護範囲とその対抗利益である表現の自由との衡量問題も扱おうとするところ、「最先端技術関連法研究」21号に「応用美術をめぐる著作権保護範囲と意匠権保護範囲の相違に関する覚書―応用美術の著作権保護範囲と意匠権保護範囲との調整弁としてのいわゆる狭小保護範囲論の検討として」を公表した（2023年2月）。著作権における複製権及び翻案権の保護範囲の特色を、意匠権保護範囲との比較により、明らかにした。
