项目摘要

無人島言説についての論文を2本提出し、研究発表を1件行った。1.「ルソーと無人島：『エミール』、自伝、『新エロイーズ』」（『仏語仏文学研究』、2022年6月、査読あり）2.「クルーソーへの足跡＝痕跡：『ロビンソン・クルーソー』を前から書き換えるシャモワゾーの試みについて」（『日本フランス語フランス文学会関東支部論集』、2022年12月、査読あり）前者では、デフォー『ロビンソン・クルーソー』のフランスにおける受容の分水嶺となったルソーにおける無人島のモチーフについて多角的な検討を行なった。デフォーの小説が教育的モデルとされる『エミール』だけでなく、自伝やフィクション作品にまで目を向けることで、ルソー自身の理想郷として無人島が繰り返し現れていること、および無人島というモチーフそれ自体の多面性を明らかにした。後者では、シャモワゾーによる『クルーソーへの足跡』について、『ロビンソン・クルーソー』の前史を描くという前例のない書き換えの意義を探った。白人のロビンソンに帰せられる実用主義、自然の支配、植民地主義といった近代西洋の価値観とは対照的に、自然に溶けこみ、哲学的な思索も行う黒人がロビンソンの無人島生活以前にいたという設定によって、近代西洋の人間像とは異なる人間や西洋の植民地化とは異なる近代の歴史がありえたことを暗示すると同時に、文学史上ではその黒人の無人島譚ではなく『ロビンソン・クルーソー』が無人島小説の起源とされていることから、そのような可能性としての歴史が抹消されたことも示す両義性を孕んでいることを明らかにした。また、ルーベン大学の「模倣研究チーム(Homo Mimeticus)」が主催する国際学会に参加し、“Homomimticus and the literary imitation in Friday and the other wolrd”と題した研究発表を行なった。
