This project focuses on the development of a micromechanical testeer able to map in three dimensions the mechanical, tribological and topographical properties of articular joints and any other soft porous material. The industrial partner wants to improve the sensitivity of the micromechanical tester in order to be able to detect and possibly follow articular joints recovery after a traumatic injury. This research will allow the industrial partner with design knowledge for future implementation of the micromechanical tester into their currently available products.
