Research and development of an online training platform for the Personal Support Workers (PSWs) in Canada

AGTA Home Health Care (AGTA) is a Canadian home health care company that ensures patients have access to quality healthcare professionals with its innovative online system. This facilitates automated scheduling and enables real-time communication between families and health care teams. AGTA is dedicated to making home care the most accessible it can be. In collaboration with Centennial College, AGTA Home Health Care will develop an affordable, online educational platform for personal support workers (PSWs) to access low-cost, relevant, specialized professional development opportunities in the form of videos, text and courses. With the growing, aging population of Canada and the increasing need for caregivers, this project presents a great opportunity to explore innovative, technology-based ways to support caregivers.
