Axon Vetcare Technologies (Axon), develops solutions for the horse industry to capture and share medical-grade information, securely and simply between horse owners and care providers. They developed their first main product called Kovo, which is a care collaboration platform. It allows veterinarians, trainers, riders, owners, farriers, and grooms to collaborate on the care of horses. The company's current DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) solution is self-hosted and the maintenance of this platform is very expensive and risky.
