Positive study

(1)历史研究和国际比较研究：通过收集和调查国内外有关大学生文化的文献，从理论上和实证上阐明了日本大学生文化的历史变迁及其与国外大学生文化的比较特点。(2)大学生和研究生生活方式调查报告的分析研究：收集了各大学(学院)的调查报告并进行了分析。(3)大学(学院)学生的民族学研究：我们走访了大学(学院)，(4)本科生问卷调查：1997年10月至12月，我们对15所高校和4所专科学校的2130名学生进行了问卷调查，询问学生文化及其对大学(学院)的评价。(5)毕业生问卷调查：1998年11月，对5所高校和2所专科学校的1750名毕业生进行了问卷调查，回收454份问卷(25.9%)。我们让他们回顾他们的大学、学院或大专时代，从不同的方面评价他们的大学、学院或大专以及他们的生活。

Researches which we have done are as follows.(1) Historical researches and international comparative researches: By collecting and investigating literatures referred to university student culture from inside Japan and out, historical changes of university (college) student culture and its Japanese characteristics in comparison with foreign countries' were clarified theoretically and positively.(2) Analytic studies on the reports of investigations on students and graduates life styles: We collected the reports of investigations carried out by each university (college) and made analyses of them.(3) Ethnographic researches on university (college) students: We visited universities (collegs), observing students there and interviewing them.(4) The questionnaire survey on undergraduate students: From October to December in 1997, we conducted the survey on 2130 students in 15 universities or colleges and 4 junior colleges, questioning about student culture and their evaluation of university (college).(5) The questionnaire survey on graduates: In November, 1998: we conducted the survey by mailing questionnaires to 1750 graduates of 5 universities or colleges and 2 junior colleges and 454 answers (25.9%) were recovered. We asked them to look back their university, college or junioir college days and evaluate universities, colleges or junior colleges and their lives from various aspects.
