Central Asia in a strategic point of Eurasia. The purposes of thin study is in adjust basic data of Central Asia and to carry out the theoretical analysis which contribute to the effects by creating and making widely available a systematic body of scientific information. Following was studied in 2002.1. We made a field survey of Zerafohan Basin in summer and autumn by collecting water sample. Sample was analyzed by ICP-MS at Kyoto University. The uranium concentration in the irrigation water, the drinking water and the river water was beyond the WHO standard by 100-1,000 times. The water flow database of AmuDarya for 1936-1987 years is completed. The database will be distributed to each research organization.3.
