英文摘要
Many youth today play video games in their leisure times and it has been found that applying gamification to the learning environment can easily be utilized when teaching sophisticated knowledge and can improve motivation and learning in formal and informal conditions.****Milo Productions Inc. is a digital media company with a focus on values-based entertainment and educational products for children. Its flagship offering is Muslim Kids TV (MKTV), the first of its kind interactive platform for children. The current platform is lacking techniques and technologies for a robust product. To overcome this challenge, Milo is planning in collaboration with Lambton College's Information Technology and Communication Research Group to adopt the gamification techniques as well as embedding adaptive learning into the existing platform.****The research team will include a faculty research lead, research technician and research student who will work close partnership with Milo Productions. The results of this project will help Milo be more relevant to the client and differentiate itself in the market. The potential impact on the company, which has great international market potential for its product, is to increase its client base by maintaining and providing a scalable quality solution.
