项目摘要

本研究の目的は、文化遺産の形成・推進にかかわる日本の対ユネスコ文化・外交政策と国際秩序の変動との関連性を明らかにすることである。日本はユネスコを通じた活動において比較的長期の実績がある国である。この日本の外交政策を取り上げて、国際的な社会的関係性の変化を踏まえた政府の対ユネスコ文化・外交政策について考察する。本研究の特徴としてあげられるのは、文化人類学などが中心になって構成される「遺産学」の知見を国際関係論に接続し、包括的な融合研究を発展させるという点である。この目的が達成されることは、社会的関係性やアイデンティティを重視するコンストラクティビズムの国際関係論の発展に貢献することでもある。3年目にあたる本年度は、オンラインや対面による研究成果の発表６本のほか、査読付き英語論文を１本出版し、従来の遺産研究や国際関係の研究にはない新たな理論的枠組みの構築とその精緻化に貢献することができた。そこでの研究では、ユネスコが世界遺産リストなどに登録する文化遺産が記憶のインフラストラクチャーとして機能すると仮定して、中国、日本、韓国のシルクロードに関する文化遺産への関わり方を体系的にとりあげた。これは、遺産研究と国際関係論を架橋する理論的考察という点で画期的である。このほか、本研究に関係する研究者同士の意見交換や韓国での聞き取り調査をとおして、最終年度にむけて本研究課題の成果を総括するための情報収集を行った。また、シンガポール国立大学主催の国際秩序に関する共同プロジェクトへの参加を通じて、日本の外交ビジョンに関する理解を深めながら、日本の国際秩序観と文化政策に関する考察を進めた。
