项目摘要

申請書に記載した研究の目的は、世界的規模で人口移動が増加するにつれて、日本も多様な言語集団が短期・長期的に幾重にも存在する多層言語環境社会に突入しているが、そのような社会では、話し相手や目的・状況に応じて、自分の言語レパートリーから言語資源を選んで用いる複言語主義的な第二言語話者が求められるところ、日本の言語環境文脈でのそうした第二言語話者像が具体的に示されているわけではないので、本研究では、日本における第二言語話者の文末表現、聞き手反応、意味交渉など会話方略の言語混合使用について考察し、さらにそうした言語の混合使用を含む会話方略への評価を、評価者の属性の違いにより比較して考察するとともに、これに基づいて、将来の多層言語環境化した日本社会における第二言語話者像がどのように変化するか示唆することを目指すとしている。コロナ禍の影響で、対面でのトランスランゲージング場面の記録が困難だったため、YouTubeで公開されている日英両言語話者の対談動画選定し、その会話部分の書き出しと、分析用の分類票の作成を前年度分の繰り越しとして行った。これについては、繰り越し分の報告として別に報告する。その分類票を使い、動画における日英２言語、およびトランスランゲージングの使用状況を分析し、トランスランゲージング使用例の参考として抜き出し、モノリンガル母語話者のトランスランゲージング使用に対する態度を測定する刺激用スクリプト作成の準備とした。これと平行して、トランスランゲージングの概念が多層言語環境化する今日の社会状況に置いて、どのような重要性を帯びているかを考察する作業も行った。一つは文化的言語的に多様な子どもたちに対する教育への提言として、トランスリンガル文学から示唆を得ようとする考察であり、もう一つは留学生との国際共修授業おける多様な言語文化環境の中で批判的思考力を高める試みの考察である。
