项目摘要

和算を軸とした数学史全般について原典の解読, 研究を進めた. 特に, 関孝和の数論と円理について中国伝来の解法および西欧での研究との比較検証を進めた. また, 数学史の研究, 原典の解読の成果をもとに, 学習指導要領「数学活用」をはじめ高校1年「数学I」「数学A」の[課題学習]及び総ての科目において, 数学史の視点を活かした授業の研究, さらに生活の中に活きている数学について発見, 気付かせる授業の研究, 実践を進めた. 特に「数学活用」, [課題学習]では, 生徒による主体的な数学的活動の充実, アクティブラーニングの取り組み, 研究, 実践と教材研究, 作成を続けた. 今年度は主に授業実践に力を注ぎ, 研究発表としては8月上旬日本数学教育学会の全国算数・数学教育研究岐阜大会で12年に亘る授業の実践報告を行った. また, 8月下旬全国和算研究大会愛媛大会に参加, 伊佐爾波神社に伝わる算額の研究を進め, 3月には重ねて同地で調査, 研究を続けた. また同3月NPO法人和算を普及する会主催「算額をつくろうコンクール」表彰式において司会を務めた. 例年参加してきた京都大学数理科学研究所の研究集会「数学史の研究」は日程が9月となったため, 勤務校授業と重なり参加できなかった. そのほか, 共立出版に於ける数学文献を読む会など多数の学会, 研究会に参加し, 研鑽を積むとともに, 原典, 特に関孝和, 建部賢明, 賢弘兄弟による『大成算経』と中国南宋の数学者秦九韶の『数書九章』の精読に努めた.数学史の専門的な研究と中等教育における授業研究は直接的な関連が薄いとも考えられるが, 数学嫌いを多く生んでいる現状を鑑み, 数学の本質的な意義, 良さを伝えるため, 数学が拠って生まれ来るその歴史を踏まえた授業の実践, 先人達が築き上げた数学的な実りとそれに至る数学的営みをよく理解した上で教壇に立つことが肝要と考え, 数学史の研究とその視点を活かした授業の研究, 実践を試みている.
