项目摘要

研究目的学習指導要領「数学活用」, 「数学A」の「整数の性質」及び「数学I」「数学A」の[課題学習]実践において, 和算を軸とした数学史全般の研究を活かし, 数学的活動を充実させた授業の研究と実践を目的としている, 数学史の専門的な研究と中等教育における授業研究は直接的な関連が薄いとも考えられるが, 数学嫌いを多く生んでいる現状を鑑み, 数学の本質的な意義, 良さを伝えるため, 数学が拠って生まれ来るその歴史を踏まえた授業の実践, 先人達が築き上げた数学的な実りとそれに至る数学的営みをよく理解した上で教壇に立つことが肝要と考え, 数学史の研究とその視点を活かした授業の研究, 実践を試みている.研究方法原典, 特に関孝和の『括用算法』と中国南宋の数学者秦九韶の『数書九章』の精読, 学会での研究活動, 授業研究, 資料調査を進めている. 8月全国和算研究山梨大会に参加し, 武田神社境内の算額, 甲府市立図書館にて故小平邦彦氏の資料など視察した. さらに12月にも再度武田神社, 市立図書館を訪ね調査を続けた. 7月, 8月の二度に亘り数学史名古屋セミナーに参加, 7月には椙山女学園大学教育学部を訪ねた. その他, 数学教育学会年会, 実践数学教育研究会(東京書籍主催), お茶の水女子大学における数学教育の会, 共立出版に於ける数学文献を読む会など多数の学会, 研究会に参加し, 研鑽を積んだ.研究成果東京理科大学における社会人対象の「和算中級講座」(春季4月～7月)の講師を担当する一方, 関孝和の『括用算法』と秦九韶の『数書九章』の比較研究を続け, その成果の一つして, 平成25年6月には, 関孝和の数論に関する論文が掲載された書籍がSpringer社から刊行された. また, RIMS研究集会「数学史の研究」に論文「『数書九章』と『括用算法』」を提出. またNPO法人和算を普及する会には『算法童子問巻一(現代訳と解説)』の原稿提出済ませ, いずれも近々刊行の予定である.
