Making up the substantial elderly's facilities network for the community is very important theme for the coming the aging society. The thorough investigation works from the view point of the actual operation programs or the abilities of daily living activities of the aged were taken place at the 7 typical Day-Care and Day-Service facilities for the elderly. According to these results of investigation works and paying attention to the similarities and disparities between two facilities, the author pointed out the essentials of architectural planning and designing method for the day-care, day-service facilities for the elderly and discussed about the possibilities of unification of these.Contents of the report are as follows ;1. Attendance sphere of day facilities for the elderly in the community2. The typical patterns of the elderly from the viewpoint of abilities in the basic daily living activities3. Actual operation programs in day facilities and some basic behavior-settings in activities4. Formation of the groups in communal living activities5. Space composition and architectural planning of day facilities for the elderly

构建完善的社区养老设施网络是即将到来的老龄化社会的重要主题。从老年人的实际操作方案或日常生活活动能力的角度对7个典型的老年人日间照料和日间服务设施进行了深入的调查。根据调查工作的结果，并注意到两种设施的异同，作者指出了老年人日间照料和日间服务设施的建筑规划和设计方法的要点，并讨论了统一的可能性。报告的内容如下：1.社区老年人日间设施的照顾范围从基本日常生活活动能力看老年人的典型模式。日间设施的实际操作程序和活动中的一些基本行为设置4。社区生活活动中群体的形成5.老年日间设施的空间构成与建筑规划
