Analysis of between-species and intra-species diversity using primate genome data and application to conservation biology

为了灵长类保护生物学和种内多样性研究，我们开发了一个名为“Prim-Prim”的数据库。通过对人和猕猴基因组序列的比较，提取出两种物种间内含子与外显子序列完全相同的片段，并将2,303对引物对收录到该数据库中，该数据库已向公众开放。利用这些引物对6种大豆的核苷酸序列进行了测定，结果表明这些引物是有效的。

For primate conservation biology and for intraspecies diversity study, we developed database called "Prim-Prim". Through comparison of human and macaque genomic sequences, intronic regions sandwitched with identical exonic sequences between two species were extracted, and 2,303 primer pairs which can amplify DNA fragment of unsequenced primate genomes were listed in this database, and it is open to public. We used these primers to determine nucleotide sequences of 6 gibbon species, and showed usefulness of these primers.
