モーメント写像が単に幾何学のみならず一方ではQ構造を通してarithmeticな対象と結びつき、他方ではtoric varietyを通して代数幾何やcombinatorialな対象と結びつくので、シンプレクティック形式が退化した場合や像が無限次元になる場合もこめてより広い視点からのモーメント写像の研究を目指した。(I)Duistermaat-Heckman測度を介して、単純リ一環ではKilling形式にあたるものの一般化を、得たが代数的な場合はQ構造を持つことがわかった。また、(II)toric非特異射影多様体の正則自己同型に関するある種の予想についてcombinatorialな考察から肯定的な部分的結果を得た。これらは“Bilinear forms and extremal Kahler vector firlds associated with Kahler classes"(to appear in Mathematische Annaler)、及び1995年Survey in Geometry“シンプレクティック幾何学"に於ける講演「Kahler幾何学における運動量写像」の中で述べたが、これを更に深いものにまで発展せねばならないと思っている。
