Roles and Effects of Japanses Language Education in Korea

The purpose of this research is to prove the roles and effects of Japanese language education in Korea by means of questionnaires. We recieved the answers from 49 companies among 150 and also totally gathered 702 students answers of 7 highschools, 3 junior colleges and 3 universities in Seoul, Pusan, Kyongjyu, Jingjyu, who study Japanese language.The results are as follows : (1)Korean companies whatever type of industry need Japanese language when they study the advanced techniques and know-how of every system from Japan, use the machines and parts made in Japan and make Japanese understanding about Korea. (2)The purpose of Japanese language education in Korean companies is not only to make up the abilities of stuffs but atso to train the excellent stuffs who can participate in globaly in future. (3)Japanese language education in Korean companies mostly achieve good results. (4)Japanese language education in schools proves to be quite successful in order to improve the anti-Japanese sentiments of the students. (5)Japanese language education in schools prepare for a business after graduation. (6)The junior college and university students are encouraged by Japanese language education to study Japanese and Japanese culture.
