A Field Research on the Actual Conditions in foreign Countries of the Teaching Japanese for Foreigner

We are developing the supporting system for teaching Japanese on personal computer, which was funded by Monbusho Scientific Research Program. For this project, we have been collected several kinds of educational redources, which contain information of teaching Japanese and teaching materials and so on. But in Japan we cannot get the real states in foreign countries.In this research, we have visited South Korea, taiwan, Canada, U.S.A, England and Italy, and we have obtained the following: (1) Information about the states of teaching Japanese in each country. (2) Various kinds of teaching materials in south korea and Taiwan. (3) Establishment of relationship about teaching Japanese information exchange in Canada, U.S.A, England and Italy. These results are made the most of in the former project.
