项目摘要
Personalized System of Instruction (PSI) was applied in information literacy and statistics courses in universities. PSI featured (1) use of web-based learning materials, (2) proctors who assist learners, (3) self-paced progress, and (4) mastery leaning by checking tests. PSI courses received higher evaluation on learners' satisfaction and on learning outcomes compared with the courses in conventional ways. The next steps of PSI are to delivery learning materials via network and to apply PSI in distance learning, especially to replace human proctors to virtual proctors in network system. In order to realize the next PSI, this study discuss on the interactivity of the learning system and its effect on the motivation of the learner.
个性化教学系统在高校信息素养和统计学课程中得到了应用。PSI的特点是(1)使用基于网络的学习材料,(2)监考人员协助学习者,(3)自主进度,(4)通过检查测试掌握学习。PSI课程在学习者满意度和学习效果方面的评价均高于传统方式课程。在远程教学中应用PSI,特别是在网络系统中以虚拟监考代替真人监考是PSI的下一步发展方向。本研究探讨了学习系统的互动性及其对学习者动机的影响,以期实现下一阶段的自主学习。
