Development of effective teaching methods of moral education

本研究的目的是找出中小学教师在促进道德教育中所涉及的任务，并设计出能够应对这些任务的教学方法。对教师的问卷调查和对他们的道德教育教案的分析表明，他们中的许多人发现自己很难教会学生的价值观意识，很难处理多个道德价值观交织在一起的课文。在这项研究中，很明显，对于前一个困难，教师计划一个专注于对人类弱点的同理心的计划是重要的，而对于后者，至关重要的是澄清一个与计划目标一致的强调的价值。

The purpose of this study is to identify the tasks involved in promoting moral education that elementary and junior high school teachers have, and to design teaching methods that can cope with these tasks. The questionnaire for teachers and the analysis of their lesson plans for moral education show that many of them find it difficult to teach in itself to cultivate students' awareness of values, and to handle texts where more than one moral values are mixed in. In this study, it became clear that, concerning the former difficulty, it is important for teachers to plan a program that focuses on empathy for human weakness, and that, concerning the latter, it is vital to clarify a value to be emphasized in line with the aim of the program.
