本研究では麹菌Hap複合体により制御される遺伝子群を網羅的に同定し、それら遺伝子群の関連性を明らかにすることを目的とした。その結果、Hap複合体はリボソーマルタンパク質遺伝子などの翻訳関連遺伝子を間接的に抑制することが明らかとなった。また、HapXと協調して鉄に関連した酵素(チトクロームc、アコニターゼなど)や鉄の取り込み系の抑制因子SreAの遺伝子の発現を抑制することが明らかとなった。
