本研究の目的は細胞周期制御分子のひとつサイクリンB1の臨床的意義の解析と本分子を標的とした新たな免疫療法の開発である. 本研究によりサイクリンB1を含む各種の細胞周期関連分子の癌における発現解析により, 臨床的に術後の再発を予測しうる可能性が明らかとなった. さらに肺癌患者において明かな抗体の産生を確認し, また血清中の抗体価が術後再発との関連を示唆するという知見が得られた. その免疫学的有効性についてさらに検討を行っている
