Through the analyses of tense systems and tense-related phenomena in various languages such as English, Japanese, German, French, Korean and Dutch, we have clarified some universal characteristics and principles concerning the recognition and expressions of time in human language. Moreover, we have demonstrated that the compositional theory of tense proposed by Naoaki Wada, one of our co-researchers, is very useful and appropriate for the explanation of diverse tense-related phenomena.

通过对英语、日语、德语、法语、韩语、荷兰语等语言的时态系统和时态现象的分析，阐明了人类语言在时间认知和表达方面的一些普遍特点和规律。此外，我们还证明了我们的合作研究者之一Naoaki Wada提出的时态合成理论对于解释各种时态相关现象非常有用和合适。
